Seconded. I love mine as well. The comment about Crank Bro's and loose spindle's is right on as well. I recommend spending the extra dough on the adjustable tension version if you are going ATAC. I love being able to crank em down and when they get older (mine are 3 years old) the bars do start to get some play. When they do you can just crank down the tension a bit and the play disappears. New cleats would almost certainly help yer unintended disengagement as well.

i suppose that makes sense; for some reason i rememeber having a pair of times that i trouble disengaging from. the cleats i have on there now i got in the fall and i rode them through the winter. i guess they've given up the ghost.

I went on a 150km ride with some people up to the Oakville area to a town called Milton and back yesterday and we had two flats in the first 15km, the rest was smooth sailing.

So I put a movie on (random slasher horror) and promptly fell asleep for two hours. Sorry about bailing on lunch, but it appears I was a bit worn out. Time to get my used part scrounge/photo-takin' adventure on.

Edit: The only thing that bugs me about the Times is that they look like Klingon warships or something ... the design just kills me. Oh well, they'll be hidden under my feet, and what does it matter how they look when they work perfectly?

the design is a bit angular. perhaps that is time's attempt a saving a little weight? who knows? they work and as you say you can't see them when you're riding so who cares? same with a saddle i guess. comfort first, fancy graphics second.

The angular lines are to create a strong platform out of the light materials used. trade off between strength vs. beauty.

So I was like biking back from Finch station right. And I was like hey lets go up weldrick instead of crappy Yonge st. So there was these like two high school kids on the sidewalk making out. And I was like YO GET a r00m. So one of there lackeys on a fuji front suspension fairly nice bike goes, YOU get a r00m. I was like, NO Dude KTHX.

Then I was like lets settle this by RACING, he's like OK. At the next intersection he pulls onto the road and like, are we doing this or what. I don't answer him look down at this bigass dial on my handlebars and turn it to 4000W (p0wnz0r level) and go eat it, west side story *****!

As I was powering up my rear wheels starts burning off rubber and he disappears in an envelop of dust. 5 seconds later I was 2km in front of him and doing 50kph up a 10% grade.
