Alright. I'll put you in regardless. Earlier than June 10? I think June 10 is pushing for getting people's schedule in order! That's only 3 weeks from this Saturday.

My crown of barbed wire.......

As for June 10, I can't speak for you singles out there, but as a parent, it's almost impossible to make plans within three weeks.
Start booking Aug, now. kd'ing, sorta kinda.

eyefloater 05-17-06 02:24 PM

Hands up if your building got hit by lightning and sparks shot out of the electrical outlets ... *raises hand*

jeremywhitehorn 05-17-06 02:25 PM

good day for me to bring the bike witout fenders. and to wear street clothes...

TRaffic Jammer 05-17-06 02:30 PM

On the way home it simply doesn't matter. 'Cept for the leather shoes. I sooooo hate having to put on wet riding gear if I get soaked on the way in. Damn Eyefloater....show off..

eyefloater 05-17-06 02:33 PM

Ya, watch me show off all the buckets we have collecting water upstairs now. ;)

TRaffic Jammer 05-17-06 02:38 PM

Good thing you didn't buy the building.

Ill Mitch 05-17-06 02:59 PM

Well I'm off to my friends house and then we're gonna head down to the Ride of Silence

I hope it stops raining.

Shiznaz 05-17-06 03:40 PM

My work has no showers or changerooms. I have just been changing in the basement next to where you lock up the bikes. Boy am I glad I didn't bike home in my brand new Sean John blazer! I'm freaking soaked! Its gonna really suck if its storming on the way to work because when I get there I just put on pants and a shirt over my undies and t-shirt. Spending all day in an office with soggy drawers ain't fun.

edit: Wes, je réponds à votre invitiation pour m'occuper de la clinique de piste sur le dixième juin.\\

also, we will see at the last minute if I'm up for the ride of silence.

damn, that's hot.

TRaffic Jammer 05-17-06 03:47 PM

I on the other hand have full showers/change room AND a gym.

Shiznaz 05-17-06 03:50 PM

yeah, but I on the other hand am taller AND younger than you.

TRaffic Jammer 05-17-06 03:55 PM

Thus you deserve your wet undies.... tallboy..
I don't use the showers at work everyday but they sure are handy when you push too hard coming in and get all soaked and smelly.
Gives me a place to hang the rain gear as well. Thank goodness....how you finding the job shizy?

gokiburi 05-17-06 03:55 PM

i just wipe down my pits with hand towels in the mens room. it's that or air-dry.

operator 05-17-06 04:08 PM

Phew, good thing I don't work!

TRaffic Jammer 05-17-06 04:15 PM

Oh man I am sooooo lucky to be where I am in terms of facilities. I even park in the pass accessed basement parking with the executives. My bike is nice and dry too. I think all companies should make some form of showering available to bike commuters. Either that of the building itself should include facilities and charge a slice of the rent to maintain them. As it is I pay 20 bucks a month, for the gym access (27-7), the change and showers.

Shiz...many other riders at the building? How long before you're caught with one foot in as it were?
Operator......avoid it as long as possible. Unless it's for spending money, for bikes, toys, or road trips.
