The spicer is still doing me great, I just need a new commuter, and the KHS actually has rack and fender mounts which is pretty sweet. I find the top tube a little long on my spicer for commuting as well, and I have the FSA vigorelli cranks and some other high zoot stuff on it that screams steal me. And I never had a thing against steel... I've only ever had one non-steel bike anyways!

i'd like to take that back brake off, flip the wheel around and bolt a Boone cog onto the disk rotor. then you're ready for fixed dirt action. oh, and a set of midge bars becuase i'm, like, subversive.

sorry no CV for me, i'm lazy and on the internets planning a vacation.

Hey guys, I just arrived in Toronto and will be here for two weeks. I brought my bike w/ me , but forgot to pack my bike shoes. I'm staying around Lakeshore & Bathurst area and was gonna hit MEC and Duke's(I think that's it) and that other place near Duke's to look for mtb shoes, but can any of you recommend any other places to get a good deal on mtb shoes? I'd like to check out Adidas mtb or the Diadora bikecop shoes. Thanks.

Welcome. (Unfortunately I have no idea about the shoes, unless you'd just like a list of the bike shops I know. Good luck!)

Edit: doesn't Cycle Therapy carry Adidas? Ask Eyefloater for the address.

[shill]Hey, go figure - we've got a bunch of 2006 Adidas footwear for 50% off ... all men's size 9. See ya soon (1114 Queen East).[/shill]

*sigh* ... that felt dirty. And those probikekit.com deals are pretty awesome, I must admit.

Thanks eyefloater! What's the cross street? And if you work there, how would I recognize you?
