Not that I really trust the extended forecast (particularly The Weather Network's), but it ain't looking promising for any serious slop.. stupid global warming. https://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0696
ps. I remember getting a little interest from my suggestion of a Fall Colour Ride.. not sure if there's still anyone interested..? It'll be too late soon, methinks.

Just got back from a nice ride with Jeremy which put me past my mileage goal for this year with 2.5 months to go! Guess it's a good year for biking!
Keith, do you mind sending me those photos of the bolt? thanks!

Hey dave. I tried to take a decent pic of them but my camera is crap for detailed pics and they are so blurry you cant make em out. Tofu was in on Saturday and said he and Malcolm at Biseagal could machine one for you no probs. That might be the best option. Otherwise pics for HED are up to you....I cant do much there.

that picture is brilliant. only because it isn't me.
fall colours ride sounds fun... now that i have some more country milage under my belt. as long as we can take stretch/rest/food stops.
ps. i am quickly becoming addicted to facebook scrabulous. oh dear.

Well, I *don't* have much country mileage under my belt this year, so I'm definitely into the stretch/rest/food/chat/photography/etc breaks.

We'll sell you the whole seat but you'll only need the Edge...edge...edge!"

I'm just going to take a wild guess here that people are doing Durham in Whitby and not heading all the way to Collingwood? I'll book Sunday off but if it's a double-header for some of you I'll just be able to make one race.
If it's wet for Durham, I'd like to formally submit a request to rename the race "The Race to Disgrace" ...

As for the Fall/Gang Colours Tour, I'm up for it whenever. Since I'm a 9-to-5'er, I guess a Saturday would work best.

I guess November is too far along for a fall colours tour? I'm not around the next 2 weekends. Seems people want to see the baby. I don't blame them, he's quite the handsome little bugger.

You're going to let a derailleur keep you from fun? How very un-Danpositive of you!
Btw Wes, I won't let it happen to me, I'm there. Saturdays are best for me as well and I have no problem getting repeatedly dropped if I'm alone on my fix. I will catch up during the rest/snack/stretch/backgammon/fiddlesticks breaks.
Looks like it may be warm and rainy tomorrow night... could be fun - and the last of warm rain.
