well there is no chaffing and the odd riding boil never bothers me much , . description hmm guess you never played laccross and got drilled with the ball ? ok best I can come up with is that I might be having a longer adjustment period with fixed riding it sort of feels like when you have done your first century . maybe I might need a different type of seat ,I have driven bikes to work all year round for over 30 years with no problems mountain bike road bike off road trail riding bush riding snow/ice riding, it might be that my legs are in constant motion opposed to resting on a free wheel and that means moe pressure in the crotch area with my regular seats,, sooo aretheses brooks seats a better option/ sorry for the long post

I was just sitting in class at Baen and I looked at my bike and noticed a bulge like an inch from the headtube lug on the downtube. I felt it and it was not smooth, then I said **** and the prof looked at me.
Then I left. PS Thanks for the tools cavernmech. |
Operator: man that stinks. have you got a spare frame? what size do you need, i'll keep an eye out. if you're stuck i have a 58cm gas-pipe raliegh in the basement you can have.

Okay the Operator Emergency Fund gets first dibs at the Cycle Therapy secret basement stash. Dude, that sucks. That bike was an awesome find. Maybe Malcolm at Biseagal or Mike Barry can save the day? |

that is kinda below street level. and for $8 bucks you get to sit in front of this HUGE pan, and the waitress comes up and dumps a bucket of marinated meat and cabbage into it. She just lets it cook and stew for about 15 mintues. its AMAZING! especially in the winter. and for an extra dollar, you can order sticky rice to throw onto the pan after you are done. So you basically flatten the rice in the pan to make a rice pancake and let it soak up all the marinating sauce and stuff... amazing stuff as well. and you feel quite satisfied afterwards. oh. and on the menu it says tips & tax included :) good times. I usually go to Yummy Bar-B-Q for some good and cheap Korean BBQ eats! Hey Operator, sorry to hear about your downtube... :( |
Happy Birthday Ill Mitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Love You My Brother. |
Happy Birthday Mitch!!!!
Operator, damn I'm sorry to hear that dude, what size you take? What kind of frame/material? the tube split? Korean Grill on QWest...mmmm meat, I can't even go by there...I smell it and my mouth waters. June 10 definate scratch, I'll be camping for a couple days 8-9 with my daughter and her school, so the 10th will be hangin at home. *bummed* |

Something that occured to me this morning: could someone bring a pedal wrench when we head down to Forest? I'm not sure if any tools will be available.
*eagerly anticipating velodrome day* |

Hey Mitch, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! |
Will my eggbeaters and mountain shoes be good enough for the track or should I bring my track pedals w/ clips and straps (the problem being I have no stiff soled shoes). Also sorry to hear about the bianchi rob... How did you notice it was broken while you were in class?

I also need to know bike numbers so I can install extra racks if needed. |
Got another Forest City question: I took a look at some photos of the track and noticed a lot of (actually all) people wearing a lot of clothing, ie. tights/arm warmers/vest/etc. Is that for protection in case of a fall or because the temperature at the track is frigid?
Edit: no bike for me. I'll save the Pake from certain death until I can destroy it at a worthy speed. ;) |
