It was offhoff who crashed, he said he had some pedal strike and slid along the sidewalk.

making sparks with the cleats on your shoes is always fun :D

Mmm... ice cream floatsss..... ;)

Yeah, CV was a bomb fest, weavin', dodgin', etc...

I still wanna do the Kensington parking garage. How about it Mitch?

Offhoff 06-13-06 11:47 PM

FYI apparently bikes are cool in parking garages while skatesboard, well not so much. I took a pretty good slide after some pedal strike during the CV but nothing serious was damaged, just a knuckle.

Good riding with you all.

Yeah, I'm only in if it's a wool jersey along the lines of the one you posted anyway. I can buy a cheap poly jersey and screen/stencil it myself if I want something homemade. :P

You guys didn't go there? Well then, now I don't feel as bad about missing out because I wanna go there too.

Oh whatever, Mr. "Psst, hey Mike ... can you can get me a quote on a Bareknuckle? It's so blue and unpractical."

But yes, anytime someone gets a new bike I always have an urge to ponder what could be ...

hahahah.. touché

btw. who here mountain bikes or is interested in mountain biking? I know cavernmech does, and I think darkmother as well. Anyone else? I'm planning on getting back into it next year.

Thats a fine question....If memory serves I think they are tigged but not 100% sure. Call La Bicicletta and ask someone there. That bike is crazysteep tho. If it is just for the track..then it would be sweet. For street they are a little too squirrelly for my liking.

eyefloater 06-14-06 07:23 AM

You bastard, that was a total bait.

*raises hand dejectedly*

TRaffic Jammer 06-14-06 07:29 AM

^^^I smell smoke^^^

I like the home spun look. Wife says I can get screens for cost. If we wanna go getto thats cool too. Let me get Cypress Hill inspired and I'll come up with some designs using non-typical imagery. Anyone REALLY adverse to Japanese inspirations? I've gone away from MTB....up up up ...down down down....sheesh. If I do a cross/road conversion to my MTB I'll give 'er again on the trails at least once, but I really wanna up the gearing on this ride. The flipped stem, slight seat rise....feels good, much better for carving. Wore through the handgrips, so time to change....now that I don;t need to micro control of a wide bar for the trails... chop chop time. Any grip suggestions?

I was thinking just for track ... it's a long-term goal but something worth considering.

I've had a hard-on for marines because they kill everything they see ... wait, that's not right.
I've had a hard-on for Rossin track frames ever since I saw one like this on eBay some time ago:

http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2006...senbluth-3.jpg

So tigged ... are there any benefits to that (ie. easier to replace a bent tube than with lugged or fillet)?

Oh, I emailed La B. a few days ago. If/when they get back to me I'll post any useful info. I couldn't find anything about the current Rossin line-up on teh interweeb.
