It is that time of year again boys <and girl>. Yes that's right-the ever popular Bicycle Blitz! Each and every summer, following Bike to Work Week, Toronto’s finest take time out of their busy day to give frivolous traffic tickets to cyclists. Get yours today-I did! $110-disobey stop sign-fail to stop. Thank you officer Ridge!

Officer Ridge was also kind enough to inform me that cycling is dangerous, and that it is entirely likely that I will be killed while cycling. Because of Officer Ridge's vigilance, we can only hope that I will be discouraged from riding my bike in traffic. He has probably saved my life. Thank you Officer Ridge!

I also must remember to check this thread like 1600000 times a day.

damn.. i was wearing a sub-six but it had the plastic coating. i wore that thing for a long time (too long) but it still saved my brain. the insurance adjuster even gave me the full replacement cost of it! about 100 bucks. wearing a bell now. i'll be replacing mine every 3-4 years at least.

Dayum, that Marinoni is nice but I guess a 6'1 guy like me would be too big for a 58cm frame, rats.
