It is that time of year again boys <and girl>. Yes that's right-the ever popular Bicycle Blitz! Each and every summer, following Bike to Work Week, Toronto’s finest take time out of their busy day to give frivolous traffic tickets to cyclists. Get yours today-I did! $110-disobey stop sign-fail to stop. Thank you officer Ridge!
Officer Ridge was also kind enough to inform me that cycling is dangerous, and that it is entirely likely that I will be killed while cycling. Because of Officer Ridge's vigilance, we can only hope that I will be discouraged from riding my bike in traffic. He has probably saved my life. Thank you Officer Ridge! |
