Well put my track drops on & took them off just as fast. I can not get used to them. I love my bullhorns, not sure if they will be aloud on the track (if i bring my bike?)
Need to get some regular road bars!
My middle name might as well be Freddy cause i’m ready!! TO GO.
Cheers

Bullhorns won't be allowed on the track unless it's a pursuit race.

STEEKER 06-09-06 08:18 PM

and no brakes allowed

Fun ride tonight, Op. Good times. I think I win for most inefficient flat fix EVER TO HAPPEN IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE. Thank you, ladies and gents.

I wasn't paying attention, but it was accompanied by the most inefficient photo to EVER BE TAKEN IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE. Operator gets that title though.

Well they wanted pictures on BOTH cameras. So. Funny how it started raining just when I left.

Great! I leave the forums for a few hours and lost out on a bike ride tonight.

32, I'm gonna pm you with my cell number for whenever there is an impromptu ride...

eyefloater 06-09-06 09:55 PM

Blah ... so crywolf.ca expires in a few weeks and I'm not renewing it. Mulling over a new domain name has got to be one of the most mind-bogglingly frustrating tasks ever.

"Okay, every possible combination using my name is taken unless I register a domain under some obscure country domain ... time to start pondering something that sounds interesting but won't annoy me in 12 months."

*Returns to watching stage 19 of the Giro ... and whois'ing domain*

I own your face

Offhoff 06-09-06 10:53 PM

I'm definately going to be there tomorrow.

somnambulant 06-09-06 11:40 PM

buh. can't sleep.

velodrome peeps: don't forget shoes/pedals/helmet. You aren't riding without a helmet --- I don't want you to go all the way to London and not be able to ride. And you aren't sticking your sweaty head in my helmet! :P

operator 06-09-06 11:51 PM

Kind of hard to forget those things when you ride downtown .

Ill Mitch 06-09-06 11:55 PM

Just looking at some pics of the Velodrome on their site: http://www.forestcityvelodrome.ca/

wow those those turns are STEEP!! :D

gonna be sooo much fun.

Um.. no.. that prize would go to me. I got a flat on a ride on a Tuesday. My bike sat forlornly in my apartment until Thursday when my boyfriend could come over to fix it (mind you, it was my first flat ever). Even now it'd probably take me like an hour to figure out what I'm doing.

TRaffic Jammer 06-10-06 05:20 AM

I wanna but can't ..... full reports on my desk by 11:00 tomorrow. *waves a white hankie at the departing soldiers* bye....have fun.....

STEEKER 06-10-06 08:48 AM

I just hope all the collar bones stay intact at the velodrome

STEEKER 06-10-06 09:06 AM

well a so called right of passage for bike riders is breaking your collar bone I have done it myself , but I would like to see some one lose it high up on the velodrome bend and do the tumble but with nothing broken

STEEKER 06-10-06 09:51 AM

Marks work wear house has more work shorts on sale , the shorts come down to below your knee's like messenger shorts and for $29 I might head up to get some any one else want to go

cavernmech 06-10-06 05:13 PM

I am officially claiming "first post after velodrome" status.
Fantastic time today guys. Can't wait to do it again. No skin donation's and what I thought was an impressive first showing by the bike forums crew. Cheers for a good day. K.
So who's gonnna be the madison team? I nominate Shiz and Mitch. I will of course hold the stopwatch and look "official".
