hmmm a drunken redneck American in France. "That's ok if that's not how's it's pronounced, we're Americans we can say it any way we like. " I know Phil always looks like he's swallowing a bug when those jokers start butchering names of riders and destinations. All these year sand he still refuses to say it properly.

General comic relief? Is that just an excuse? Do we need giggles with our commentary? I think Phil's bitingly snide remarks are plenty funny enough. OH I know it's so that the yanks will watch and laugh and have a great time. Sneaky OLN.
I've always been amazed at how close the crowd can get on the open road. Impossible to change and I don't think it should. But yea, the barriers could use a changin' for the finishes. Even the barrier design is evil. I keep waitin' for the bar/pedal grab by the barrier, you know it wants to.

True, I keep forgetting that Phil has been doing it as long as I've been watching it.

Thor also got nailed in the head with a camera a split second before the cardboard hand as well. ****ing crowds.

So officially the pool is dead. Most of the guys who wanted in are clueless without the 2 favorite's. That being said the few of us who did make pick's...you know who you are...are still eligible for the $20 grand prize...and the "mystery prize".
For the record my pick's. Landis in yellow. Eisel in white. Boonen in green. Moreau in polka dot. Credit Agricole for team. winning margin...altho I don't think it will be needed...1:40

Went through my parts bin to try to trim down my holdings: how many mtb stems does one really need? Quite a few as it turns out. Some very odd stuff hidden in there. Some's out on the street, but pm me if any of the following catch your fancy: MA3 built on a 36 campy record hub with a with an ACS Clawz 16t BMX hub, set of conti contacts 700 x 28. I also have two tarps available for free. Looking out my window it looks like my bag of stuff is still there which includes a rat-trap rear carrier, various old suntour and very old shimano derailleurs, reflectors, and other odds and sods. If you're a collector/pack rat, I can run out and grab it for you.

Not getting rid of the campy are ya?
As for the pool, man I simply don't know this year. I'd love to see Landis take it, but I just don't share Keith confidence. There's a little something in the back of my brain saying nope to Landis for all the marbles. 1:14 do I smell toast?
