Why would putting a front brake on make it longer to stop...?

I meant in comparison to a road bike where you coast and then brake as opposed to a fixed gear ride where you would use the hand brake and push back with your feet....sorry, I wasn't being too clear.

Bikes: TBL Onyx Pro(ss converted), Pake SS (starting to look kinda pimped)

I would think you could use the back brake as well as the front for full stoppage, and just not apply back pressure

Wow! That Makino is hot! I agree with you, I'm not feelin' the radial...

I like the matte black, but would prefer glossy black with sparkles... like my sparkly teal Makino

i'm kinda shy as it is... it's even harder to recognize people in winter gear... was missing the trumpet player and boom-box guy, but not the cops... they just disappeared one month, but no complaints over here...

^^
so, what's this "morning" thing you speak of?

I will be. I always enjoy hangovers vicariously. Any snow in T.O.? Been away for a few days and got some in Ottawa. Too bad I rented a tiny car and no room for the bike. Would have been nice to go for a ride in K-town with Sweep.

No camo from Bass Pro, did buy some flannel lined jeans. Not very stylish, but warm as hell. Too bad the only size they had in khakis were 28 and 40+.

Yes we got some snow here & the sun was doing a good job melting it until it went down it’s now an iced up mess on the roads.

Hair of the dog rides always a good idea before hand but time of hard to get out of bed!

To all have a good night.

Us going down to market square where they will have skating, wagon rides, bands, hot dogs, fireworks! All before 9:00 the kids will have fun I hope. Then some 80’s trivial pursuit for us & other adult nonsense.
Cheers
