So my buddy went to philly and did a training ride with CSC the day before a race this weekend as he works for Cervello. Ride of his life. I highly recommend you do a training ride with a pro if you EVER get the chance. dump your other, quit your job whtever, as you will remember every pedal stroke for years and years to come.

Explosions and parties for charities, this is going to be a good summer.

I'd love to see these sprints begin, and I'd be willing to help organize / setup, etc. (hint: cavernmech, PM me if the you've been delegated). Can we do them on Wednesdays, though? (I think that was the original suggested day)

Well I can't make it happen for tomorrow but if Wednesdays are better for folks then I will get it ready for next Wednesday evening. I still have to meander down there and paint the distance marks on the road. So first night of Unwin Sprints will be Wednesday June 20th.

Dude I've got a pair of ITM road drops you can have gratis if you want. They are scratched up around the stem from when I stupidly removed them without spreading the clamp first! They've never been crashed though and I got them NOS from MIke Barry so they haven't seen any abuse aside from said stem silliness. They won't be as stiff as your Somas though :rolleyes:

I didn't even order it, I just sent my info in to *apply* to be one of the people to get a custom cx frameset built up in time for the fall season. It's pretty nuts but the bikes are goingto be gorgeous. Back in the land of "no, I don't have $3k to drop on a frameset right now" I'm very much content with my Devinci Tosca and IRO Rob Roy.

So I go outside to get my car this morning, and there is a parking ticket on it. Reason for the ticket is invalid permit, that was obviously not seen as he put the ticket right over the permit. I guess the permit for my car on my street, parked in front of my house doesn't count. Vampires, bloodsucking vampires I tell you. So now I have a second ticket to fight, hope I don't wait too long for this one, only been 4 months since the other and still waiting to fight the first one. They don't come by in the day and ticket the cars that sit for 8 hours no, they ticket cars with permits.

also: I got a ticket on my car with a valid permit as well. I just went down to city hall, they looked me up in the system, rolled their eyes (at the dink who wrote the ticket, not me) and said they'd take care of it. Done and done.
