Between March and May I find you are best off to prepare for three seasons worth of weather on ANY given ride. All that needs to happen is to have the wind change direction and the temp can plunge 15 degrees in a matter of a half hour. Who broke ICE??

Keith...is the full bounce loaner on the table for Friday? How frozen a day are we looking at?

DanHalen, sonnambulant and shapelike: nice matching your names to faces last night. Not sure how long the beer lasted for, but I checked out around 11:30 and it was still flowing. A couple of those cups was enough for me, though.

DanHalen, hopefully your deadlegs are coming to by now

I grew up with snowstorms into May, so I'm anything but freaking out. A few flurries in April are totally fine.

Good to meet you too. Hopefully I'll see you out on a ride within the next few weeks.

Dan/Colin: I bailed around 11:00 or so. You guys were near the back and I didn't feel like squeezing my way back there just to say bye.

coming back from the one-of-a-kind show on saturday, i saw someone riding with a bike on their rear bike rack heading west on king. oh snap, maybe it was sunday afternoon.. probably not you.. both bikes were geared. good way to keep those cages clear away from you.

cam: too bad you didn't pick up a sweater from ullfrotte when they were dumping stock. this was awhile back though. didn't know you like it.. could've picked up one for you over the holidays. you're a big 'un though.

Sounds good. I am gonna ask my buddy Sid if he wants to come along. We call him "The Ranger" and he knows the whole T.O. parks system like the back of his hand.
T.J. I will get the Fisher tuned and ready to ride. Maybe swing by on thurs to test ride it and get it set-up for you.

Meh, it's OK. It comes on the same disc as "The Eddy Merckx Story", which is way too long, but has some very cool footage and does a good job of explaining just how hardcore and godlike he was on the bike.

speaking of which.. I just suddenly got a clue and realized there's a parking garage underneath my office building. I went for thai food, grab a custard tart and an espresso, then hit the garage. Stupid backwards circles. Sloppy one-footed skids though. Yay for concrete floors. I needs me some flat pedals for this stuff.

2wheelsgood: what time?

I'm up for it. my bag-o-tricks may be small but nothing beats a slow sync flash and moving objects I may even be able to peer pressure Dr.Benway into coming out too. I have a few hours bug him before home time.

my favourite merckx stat: he won ~500 races out of the ~1500 he started. That's a 30% winning percentage. Unreal.
