Is that a commute? I don't think martin grove is too bad, and eglinton probably sucks but but it's only a few km. I'd go straight north to davenport to start though and make your way up to eglinton from there via something like old weston/keele.

somnambulant 07-12-07 07:25 PM

speaking of which.. anyone have a good route to centennial park in etobicoke?

I totally do, that was part of my commute when I worked out by the airport!

The best from your place is probably bloor right across to mill (just a bit past 427) and then north.

Vanilla Google Maps route-finder output. It may be a commute in the future, depending on if I like one of the programs at Humber (http://digital.humber.ca/program_full.php?program_id=6). Thanks for the input on the route - I've never done much in the north end of the city so I'm pretty clueless in that respect.

Is my fender in, by the way? And stop being so hard on yourself..... that's our job

Oh, and I encourage everyone to buy the Global Gutz raffle tickets.... I just bought 30 and if I win anything, you'll never hear the end of it. Particularly that Jake the Snake frame as it's too small for me. I'll put riser bars on it.

I can't do it. Oh yeah, you still need that brake?

Anyone wanna come to my place on Sunday evening to watch some Tour action? Coverage starts at 8:00. This is gonna be one of the best stages to watch.. 2nd day in the Alps.

http://www.letour.fr/2007/TDF/LIVE/u...par_etape.html

ps. the sprint to the finish in yesterdays stage was uphill and they hit 78kph. Craziness.

TRaffic Jammer 07-13-07 07:32 AM

I used to take Bloor out to Martin Grove and straight up to Hwy7.

I should be up for that.

To those who made the PBK order with me. Today it's free shipping there. Hence, everyone has to buy their own (that way less likely anyone pays duty as each order will be less).

I was about to say I'm down but then I remembered I'm going to my friend's show that night. Crap. I guess I'll have to watch Sunday's stage in the morning! Anyone want to watch sunday's stage sunday morning at my place? Yeah. I thought not.

Okay, thanks for the heads up.

The Nashbar hat order seems to be in. I'll be picking it up this afternoon and PM everyone the damage.

Cool, I'm free today, meet and grab a coffee later to pay up if you are free.

If only I had $60 to waste, and wanted to be a BF hipster.

Wow, 3 posts in a row, I feel like Dan.

Don't you have to pre-register or is that only if you're registering a city (i.e. as per the mess media page)

And I'll be leaving work around 4, so a hook up around 5'ish or thereafter should fly if that works.

sweep242 07-13-07 12:22 PM

So i just took a look around PBK I see this line lot "E-Mail Me
When In Stock" Hell i don’t need any of it anyway! (Well)

I get out at 4:30, so if you want a 3rd for coffee, let me know. :) I'm probably gonna head somewhere for one anyway.

also: tattoo nerds: do any shops here do anything special on Friday the 13th? :) Some friends of mine did a 13 13's for $13 thing last year.

i was born on a friday the 13th, so it's good luck to me; i'd totally get something (cheesy) to commemorate, but i hadn't heard about anything like that... probably just as well cuz i have a show tonight (no GG for me)!

Eeee.... I'll be bouncing around like Duppy was last week. I'll probably meet Pyze at Tango Palace, our local caffeine stop.
