http://photos-186.ak.facebook.com/ph..._71186_555.jpg

Features a 24" front wheel, 26" rear, v-brake rear, Hayes Nine hydro front, XTR rear der, Raceface tripple crank, Manitou dc fork.....

This bike is a little more than confused... or maybe the rider is.

ahha i love it.

I_bRAD 06-05-07 08:48 PM

It's a reverse downhill bike. Very rare.

Not quite, still needs some pink Acerbis hand guards.

did you drop the seat when working on it? The seatpost should be all mashed up at the bottom otherwise. Unless a kid rides it and is growing into it. The reflectors say kid to me.

Kaibot 06-05-07 09:54 PM

HAHA no it was down before I worked on it.... With any compression the seatpost wound mash into the shock i'm sure.

I raised it to work on it.

Guy who brought it in was 30 someish.. and I am pretty sure that it is his personal bike.

TRaffic Jammer 06-05-07 09:57 PM

i'm soooo confused

Kaibot 06-05-07 09:57 PM

somnambulant 06-06-07 05:48 AM

wtf is up with the 24" front wheel? It looks like there isn't enough room in that fork for a 26". Did it come that way??

I've ridden a Specialized P-series (lots of fun) with a 26" front and 24" rear (and seen bikes with 29" front, 26" rear), but the other way around seems incredibly wrong.

Well, then again, I guess that's par for the course on that bike. :P

One step closer to this? Just strap a couple of machine guns on...

All moved into the new joint and back online. However, the last tenants made a point of never cleaning so we have our work cut out for us. On the up side, the back balcony is bigger than we expected and as such... we got a kick ass bbq - IMHO anywho. That said, there will undoubtedly be some BBQ, beers 'n bikes at the new diggs before long.

And now for the bad news... WTF!!!! My seething rage is about to catch my desk on fire.

i don't envy cyclists in NYC these days; deffinately looked at as enemies of the state.

From bodycount - to a cop on Law and Order. Ice-t sells out.

That bike confiscation video is so disturbing. The worst part for me is the plain clothed aspect of policing... that seems to be happening more and more.

nerdsgirth 06-06-07 09:40 AM

Bump - anyone?

My partner's cousin is visiting from Korea and I am taking him to the family cottage for the weekend. A favour to ask: Does anyone have a LARGE BEATER of a mtn bike that I could borrow for the weekend so we could cover the most Halliburton territory possible? Thanks.

what's with the clipless-mounted flip-flops? for riding to the beach in bare feet?

I looked again and I think they are some sort of shoe-mount, not flip-flops. It looks like you can fit any shoe in there so I guess that this saves time because you don't have to switch out of cycling shoes and into running shoes, you just cycle with your running shoes on. Pretty good idea, I've never seen it before.

I_bRAD 06-06-07 10:53 AM

Hey John... you should see that old Raleigh now! It's almost done :D
