I would like to thank Global gutz raffle for giving me a facial. I then gave the facial to my girlfriend ;) A guy named SOX non consecutively won 4 bells/horns in the draw. hilarious. Leah's young son won the Kona jake frame. She plans on selling it and giving the proceeds to the Global gutz participants. so cool.

Also... if anyone can get out of work early on Wed. Vinny (from the clinic) and I plan on heading to Albion or Durham for a mtb ride leaving around noon.

Jasar (sp?) - we should totally set up a sting on those dudes... Although if they're smart they probably read this forum and monitor who is looking for which bikes in which case the sting is now null and void.

Update: Just got back from St. Mike's and Jason is more or less ok... He had, in fact, dropped out of the race at that point but he was heading back to Price Chopper when some ****er turned left in front of him on that street immediately west of Trinity Bellwoods (happened to me and one of my co-workers on more than one occassion at that spot) and he went up over the hood... Shoulder is broken, fractured and was dislocated when they brought him in... He said he thinks his week old Deep V's are probably ok, though. :)

Some bystanders did talk to the driver and did get his license but the guy took off... Leaving an accident is sometimes worse than causing one in the eyes of a law... that guy is ****ed!

Make sure his bike has some lights and a brake mounted in case the cops want to look it over.

I'm a wussy nerd, and proud of it! :P

ps. I think some guy on the side of the street called "GEEAARS!" when I rode past on my way back to the office from Cavern at lunch.

How big a "gang" can each side make? Dang this could be a blast...

I'm quick, but not quick enough to beat anyone on the current East Side team... If this were a race to gentrify neighborhoods, the West has already put a serious spankin' on you guys... Although once Jilly's becomes "The Drake II" you'll be giving us a run for our money. :)

As far as a sting goes...we're on it on it. I spoke with my friend and here's the info I got: she lives on a street behind the VV. It's a small street called "Busy Street" (oh the irony). She spoke with the police and they said they would "make a note of the report and drive by to check out the area". We know how that goes. She said the incidents were within 2/3 week period. If any other bikes show up there she's gonna shoot me a message to let me know...

SO....if dudes are lurking the boards....we're on to ya!! THE STREETS IS WATCHING!!

Oh and Matt...it Jesar...good on ya for coming close tho. Most people ain't even in the ballpark.

Dammn west side has our work cut out for us! Oh wait I probably won't be here. Sorry guys. Toby's alleycat was super fun. Running a checkpoint was pretty fun, the after party thingy was great. In other news damn I need to get my **** together I'm leaving in two days!!!

In other other news I can't get to used to how much play there is in my new Speedplay road pedals. When I stand up it feels like I'm slipping on the pedal. I don't feel that "connection" I felt when I tried out my friend's road shoes/Look pedals. It feels crappy. Any suggestions?

How true that comment is. When I moved into my place I could look out the window and watch the drug deals happen in the park across the street in broad daylight. My neighbour saw a dude scope out his Jetta, walk across the park and steal it all before my neighbour could get down to his driveway... now it's TOTALLY different. It's still annoying to listen to my other neighbour talk about paying $90K for his entire house :(
