his girlfriend apparently lives about 10 houses down from me, so you could always stake out my balcony and wait for him to roll by. I even have binoculars and telepohoto lenses.

I've never tried, but I'm sure it would be perceived as a horrifying death-bringing technomonolith to the eyes of ants.
edit: Don't focus at the sun or you'll set the inside of your camera on fire!

Holy f*ck UAE is out of control:
https://www.gulfnews.com/nation/Polic.../10120681.html
jesus thats harsh! Of course the kid was "crying, shouting and acting in a very hysterical way,"! Dude was just about to be given 4 years in a kangaroo court for smoking a doob in another country! Imagine getting blindsided by that with the cops showing up at your door and you having no idea what they are there for and gradually realizing they are about to arrest you because somebody totally screwed you over an informed on you. Based on the pysical evidence they seem to have, I could be jailed for 4 years for setting foot in UAE. I guess they don't need any evidence to serve warrants over there.
PS. sandals have not arrived yet because of a billing holdup. I'll give my review once they are in. Cam seems to approve.

I come from a long way away
And I know a fine thing when I see it.
See it
For the same reason no one ever
Pointed a telescope at the sun
Talking about the Red Angels of New York City

I hear that staring at the sun gives you mathematical superpowers. A telescope would only serve to multiply this. I'm pretty sure the clash sucked at math.

If you buy a H-alpha (hydrogen-alpha) filter for your "telescope" you can look at the sun without melting your camera and get cool photos to boot. Only problem is this particular filter is 1k+ USD.

hahaha.. nice one. I can't believe you're missing out again. Should we delay so that Keith MacScotchington can attend? It's also supposed to rain like crazy tomorrow.

I'm actually toying with the idea of doing something I've never done for my Life, the Universe and Everything Year...going straight edge. No more drinking, smoking or smoking for one year....clear the head, the lungs and then show you whipper snappers a thing or two. Thoughts...this whole straight edge thing is quite alien to me.

I say go for it. I've considered doing the same thing, but I already don't drink much really.

Has anyone in this thread ever been straight edge?
