My fork and I just got back to my desk with a new star nut. Thanks all for the quick insight and help! It's shaping up into a lovely day on all counts.

Also Matt, I have the fixings for 110 rear spaced wheelset for the class, so let any other attendees know, I too have a spare wheel to build should anyone need it.

So, it looks like I'm probably not heading to Ottawa this weekend now. What time is everyone planning on going to the bike show?

Nice - I've always been happy with my Rocky Mountain... I mean, I haven't ridden it a lot lately but it being my first "good" bike I'll always have a soft spot for it... If only the graphics weren't so ridiculous.

I want to find out about this.....
https://www.bikes.com/news/articles.aspx?lang=en&id=218

The cross frame list was shortened today by cables not being routed on the top tube.

My $0.02: I'm not sure how much of a concern the FD cable routing is. I wouldn't consider it of prime importance. I think it's a marketing tool more than anything. I mean, with a TT-routed cable you then have a pulley on the back of you seattube right above the bottom-bracket junction, which is a prime sludge collection area. I might be wrong, however I didn't experience any issues with the routing on my bike this past season.

Then again, if it helps you narrow things down and get a new ride, who am I to stop you?? When are you hoping to have this thing up and running? In time for Paris-Ancaster?!?

That's the ice breaker right? When is that running? I didn't notice any pulleys, but I did want to minimize cables and such down at the bottom bracket and running along the downtube.. so far that leaves the Noni, Yeti and the Rocky

The one at Queen West and McCaul is pretty good and if you eat after 10pm, it is like $8 a head. God I love cheap but awesome food.
