Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why do you get three water bottles and your wife doesn't get any?

Nothing too fancy. Bose 901 speakers, sonographe preamp (Conrad Johnson's budget line), NAD power amp. Roughly shimano 105 level audio stuff from the 1980's.

Speed is the same but I hope to attract less law enforcement attention.

Not sure which is a bigger bummer: not being able to see the eclipse or reading that "weight handicapped racing" thread.

Thank you for your support.

I don't see how one could have weight adjusted races. Other than making all riders add weight to a certain standard. I can't think of anyone who would want to race in that.

After renting a tandem in Vancouver and doing the loop around Stanley Park, it confirmed that I'll never get a tandem. It was tough to get in sinc, plus the MUP was very busy that day. The bell actually was very helpful.

It's kind of fun to be able to make a post in other threads that may come across as incorrect, but the posters know that it is in fun
