This is what happens to flowers when I look at them during a Zone 2 ride.

Oof. I lot lazy last night and left the tandem locked up to the balusters of our apartment's stairs. Some scumbag stole the little lady's handlebars :(

Also the faceplate and bolts from the stoker stem. Faceplate bolts are bigger than M6 but smaller than M8 which seems weird. Guess I should pull the stem off the seatpost and take it into the Ace to see if they're SAE threads or M7.

No bueno

Well, there ya go. Problem solved. You're welcome. How much weight do you have to lose? At least it's the front. Could be worse.

...thank you. Rather than a diet plan, I think I'll just go for the immediate gratification of losing 1/8" off the tire size. :) And certainly, things can always be worse.

That's gonna be a good trick as being a naked bike rider disqualifies most of the usual spots. But I'm sure we can find somewhere suitable if/when the time comes.

Looks like something out of an apocalypse movie.

Is that somewhere in Colorado? Not a tree or mountain as far as the eye can see.

We have plenty of corn fields here, but almost always there are tree lines used as wind breaks.

Just mud. I did not fall in the mud.

It actually looks like a sunflower field that's ready for harvest.

It is. Once you head east, this is what you get. People from other parts of the country forget we're in the high desert.

This is looking the other way.

Interesting article on the geography of Colorado. I've driven through the state on about 3 or 4 occasions, always loved riding through the mountains, and have always pledged to tour and vacation there in retirement.

Shouting distance of 15,000. Stay tuned. I will let y'all know what I do to celebrate. You had your chance at 10,000. Now...not so much!
