I rarely reply to other threads in 41. Too many want to argue simply for the sake of arguing. I'm not going down that road. I do find reading the nonsense amusing though.

Absolutely the most beautiful of all of the feral canines. The fur is gorgeous.

I've also seen him hunting in the field behind our house. Very entertaining.

How do you know it has been the same one? Do you know his name and speak when you see each other?

Yes. But he hasn't invited me over to meet the family yet.

I'm sure that with time he will find you mostly harmless.

It did! I'm now at 1,235 notifications.

Bunyanderman 10-27-15 03:11 PM

Geez! I thought I was the only one to keep the notifications rather than clicking on them. I'm only at 95, but I don't have a high posts/day ratio.

Bunyanderman 10-27-15 03:16 PM

Starting to gain interest in the stock market, playing around with $100 or so as a learning experience. Penny stocks seem like the fastest way to gain/lose profit, so those are fun to buy/sell.

20% profit for today, tomorrow, probably not so lucky.

I used to look at them.

From a tax standpoint you better keep very good records of every single transaction. I hate day traders. They see significant PITA bills from me for their tax returns.

Having so much fun, I blew right through 15,000.

Ever see a reverse spit? Keep screwing with penny stocks and you will.

In an attempt to deflect any further discussion of Bt corn...

The mystery Falcon turns out to be a pretty nice riding bike, all pimped out with powdercoated paint and Japanese tyres. Those sheep are a new addition down by the MUP/American River Parkway to try to cut down on the overall fire load, since it catches fire on a regular basis. on the other side of the trail, they're using goats, who are apparently tougher in their ability to go without water for a longer time. :)

And for rpenmanparker, your google search ought to include the terms "Bt Corn", "pesticide tolerance in insect populations", and "Mexican native corn varieties", as well as "the history of Monsanto litigation in GMO seed varieties." :)

And then I delete the post and walk away. If I keep doing it enough times, maybe I'll be cured.

i tried giving real responses like twice, i hated it. i still find myself doing the type-delete at least once a week though

The leftovers aren't really left over, see? They just represent leftovers. You never serve the dishes as first time meals. They go right to the leftover usage.

Be very careful with penny stocks. The market is generally made by the big backers of the stock. They will publish numerous articles about what a great stock it is and it is the future of whatever sector. People will jump in, the price runs up, then the backers will sell out leaving small investors with big losses.

That can be a huge problem, but I will not get near any pump and dump scheme. But honestly it is just a learning experience for me, not anything that can make a huge change in my life.

Doug28450 10-27-15 04:41 PM

My sister had an idea for a restaurant. She wanted to name it "County Fair". The menu consisted of all of the garbage food you could get at the county fair.

The stock market is a great place to invest money. Just be careful, do your research and know that not everything will be a winner. For the most part, mutual funds do quite well. They generally provide good returns, diversification and reasonable risk/reward ratios.
