Anytime Fitness doesn't have much for circulation either.

Just wanted to let everyone who helped me out with advice that I have finally repartitioned Mrs. rpen's computer and installed Win 10 on both hers and mine. I couldn't use the MS program to repartition past shrinking the too-large volume. The unallocated partition and the one that was too small weren't "adjacent" so I had to down load the MiniTools free one for the second step. Worked fine. I had a scare when my computer booted up without all my programs and data. I thought they had been discarded. Then I realized that I was looking at the setup for dummy user that is on my machine. Once I switched users to my setup, all was well.

Thanks again.

I'd like to install Win10 on my Nextbook 10.1 but I don't want to deal with all the drivers. I wonder if it would fix the issue it has with locking up when it goes into sleep mode. ALL of them that were sold have that issue.

It may be weeks 'til I ride on dry pavement again...

Similar view out my office window today.

Also, the old radio in my office stopped working this morning. :(

When will the service be held?

I'm working one, Saturday. In fact, I'm going today to start setting up.

I did it at least a couple of months ago on the same device, and it was seamless.

Really? You have one of these too? I bought two, one for me and one for the wife. Other than the sleep mode issue and the slow processor I love them. My wife's charger stopped working, which didn't surprise me, and I have a replacement coming on a slow boat from china. Set me back $3.

So you just did the update and it all worked out fine?

Reading all this makes it sound like too much of a chore.

No issues that I could tell. I haven't run into any unusable drivers yet, but then I haven't really looked very hard.

RPK79 10-29-15 09:46 AM

I'll give it a shot today or tomorrow.

Laptop speakers aren't ideal though.

Took like 15 or 20 minutes for me.

Ugh, those hosts are just horrible though. ;)

Pics from last weekend's CX adventure. We had plenty of rain the day before and a little more on the day, so it was a bit muddy.

Here I am not riding my bike.

That stair-step run up was a little slippery. Nearly faceplanted the first time through.

I also rode several sections.

No pics of me navigating the mud pit down by the river.

Note the snazzy new handle bar tape.

About two hours for the Win 10 installs. Funny, one route to the download gave me a message saying I would have to wait days or weeks to be notified that my turn to install had come up. Another route (saying I wanted to copy the program to portable media) gave it to me right away. Very strange.

Thanks. I may try it.

Looks like a blast! Nice photos, I'm jealous. Next time and forever, mud bog photos are the first priority. Extra credit for high end drive trains filled with mud and sand.
