Cassette Bite

Will extreme cassette bite cause a piping sound under load? I ride a tandem and on flat roads and slight inclines there is no issue with noise, but climbing hills there is. BTW, new BB’s wheels are all good.

I'd suggest you start your own thread in Mechanics rather than reviving one that's only tangentially related.

If I'd seen this thread BITD, I'd have been all over it, taking coachboyd and rpenmanparker to task... Those splines were designed for steel, dammit - gouging your way through them is totally a bug, not. a. feature. Lol
