You and I have shared some of your most memorable times here on BF, ol' pal.

Can I get you a coffee or anything?

...:) too bad there is no "like" button on this forum. This deserves a "like".

I will tell you what I tell them. When I croak, the missus wants that garage empty, and they're all going for 25 bucks a pop to whomever gets here first. Check the obituaries if I sudddenly stop posting here, 'cause it's gonna be a small window. :D

BillyD, you are a madman. When you stole that cow, and your friend tried to make it with the cow. I want to party with you, cowboy. If the two of us together, forget it. I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I'm gonna volunteer my leadership to this forum. A forum without leaders is like a foot without a big toe. And 3alarmer isn't always gonna be here to be that big toe for us. I think that we owe a big round of applause to our newest, bestest buddy, and big toe... 3alarmer.

...58-61 c-c, but there's one 57 cm Davidson out there that's really swell and never gets ridden lately. Check those obits or you're gonna have to stand in line.

Now that I think on it, your best strategy might be to just wait for the memorial service, and snag them when the little woman is busy elsewhere, scattering my ashes down one of the MUP porta-potties. You'd be doing her a favor.:)

...I am touched and humbled by this outpouring of support. I guess this is what happens when you have bikes that are so old the original owners are dead. :(

I am shocked, SHOCKED to see that the "We are going to yell at you" thread has been locked. Oh well, at least the 100 page party happened.

Too big. How are the components? I guess I could strip them and sell it all off piecemeal.

datlas 11-10-15 11:23 AM

I might be interested in the 61 if it's got Italian geometry (short TT)....

...I don't know what they were thinking back then, but one is a Frejus that has the shortest TT length in relation to the wheelbase I've ever seen. It takes some getting used to, but I think the tallest ones are a 62 c-t Masi and a similarly sized Ironman. It's a tossup as to which is the better bike, because they were built for different purposes.

But for sure the Masi is faster, because red.

...lotta Campy Record and Dura Ace. You'd probably take a beating, it's all that olde crap that nobody wants any more. :(

The ideal bike for me would have a ST of 63-65cm and a TT of 55 cm. Because I am a long-legged mutant.

...this explains a lot. Heck, anyone can be skinny if they're all legs and arms. I have a torso like a great ape. :( Also much of the personality.

My running is stupid thread has made it to 5 pages and has stayed on page one. I guess it is a relatively untouched subject in relation to things like helmets, waving, average speed, and what bike should I have bought.

What is a good average speed for running?
Should runners wave??
What helmet is best for running???
What running shoes should I buy?
If I am running in a paceline, is it ok to brake/slow down??

What is the best shoe tying technique?

I could not resist.

Please remind me to stay out of the 41 next time.

Are there any Boa running shoes? That would be my pick.
