In all seriousness, when I was doing Tri's I used these elastic mini-bungee shoelaces. They stretch and you slip the shoe on. They work great for running shoes but not appropriate for bike shoes.

Here we go. The very edge of this resort. The Ameca River is emptying into the ocean at this spot.

Foreground you get the groomed perfection of the resort grounds and the guys on segways zipping around bringing you stuff. Then the river. Then jungle. Then ocean. Then mountains.

All kinds of bird action. Over the river, little birds darting around catching insects. Heron and egret fishing on the mudflats. Vultures riding thermals over the jungle. Pelican cruising around over the ocean. And frigate birds way overhead. I was thinking "@BillyD should come here on vacation, he'd be in heaven with all these birds."

Got a Nishiki Altron frame for free, it's going to replace the puch, and will be a beat around bike, so it won't be pretty for awhile.

Depends on wind direction. The slower retreating line should be negatively influenced by the wind and the wind drag for the faster advancing line is kept to a minimum.
