Not to be arugmentative (who, me?), but I just want to say that I trust you. Of course distance may be a factor there.

so i found this vegan donut shop in brooklyn. i went to look at the menu on their site and i was bombarded by a 7 minute video about them on their front page, and i couldnt help but laugh. its like a ****ing portlandia skit, i feel like theyre trolling.

people like you are why normal people roll their eyes and go "ugh" when someone says theyre vegan

Thanks! I like how it's coming along, too. Now I'm trying not to rush myself to the finish.

That's totally self-aware and an absolutely intentional tone. I mean, I think that it's sincere, at the same time, but they are certainly poking fun at themselves. I think that it's brilliant.

As far as doughnuts, I have found a few shops that I'm really, really happy with, here, but I do miss Dough in Brooklyn. A few of the coffee shops that I frequented had Dough doughnuts delivered every morning. I mean, a couple bucks for a raised doughnut is a little insane, but they were good.

Yowsers. Another Baum showed up in my Flickr feed and it's another example of why I lust after their builds -

Best looking stainless and Ti bikes on the planet...IMO.

In Windows 10/Edge I am not getting copied-in web addresses (to the 41 for example) automatically converted to hyperlinks. Does anyone know why and how to fix it? Was never a problem in Win 7/IE. I have tried to find a fix via Google, but so far no luck. Thanks.

I get the same thing. If you "Go Advanced" instead of "Post Quick Reply" you'll see that, for some reason, size notation is added during the copy step. A similar thing happens, when pasting video links.

I don't know the real answer, except that Edge doesn't play well with this site. I just use the "Go Advanced" button, if I'm going to add links or pictures to my posts.

Often it is the case that none of those apply.

If you cannot tell, I hardly ever post in there any more. :)

This is some newbie who just joined last week. I answered the OP's question in post #2 with a qualifier that the wording of the question was a bit confusing to me. They went on to imply that I was an idiot for not understanding the question (and they were not the OP). The question which I had answered... Whatever. I checked out some of their other posts and they're basically all like that. They'll see the ban hamer before too long I'm sure.

http://www.microcenter.com/

edit: had to try it. Huh, weird. Dunno. Still not ready for daily driver status, IMO.

In terms of the size thing, Chrome will sometimes copy formatting, as well. To avoid that issue, I just "Paste as plain text," rather than just "Paste."

If you are ever near Red Wing, MN in the early hours of the day swing by Hanisch Bakery. I say early hours because the best stuff gets picked through early. Also, they're not open on Sundays. They are freakin' amazing. They also make the buns for Kings in Meisville who is known for their burgers which are mostly good for the buns IMHO. Kings is cyclist friendly BTW. :)

Cool. We like to get down there once in a while, just for a change of pace. Early, though? Not likely. I'll probably be happy to pick through the slim pickings, though.

Kings looks like my kind of place, too.

Hi y'all.

Yesterday I was suffering a bit Too Much Mexico- too much sun, alcohol and food the day prior. It was messing with my zen.

But we did have a nice stroll back from the pool last evening, walking along the river:

Then not one but two turn down chocolates. Why? Because Mr H had decided they are not 100% to his liking. So I get mine plus his. :)

And a nice walking this morning along the beach:

I am revived.

Mr newbie troll just told me, in reference to me saying his snark wasn't very good, that a snark is an imaginary animal and I need to brush up on my English.

Grumkins and snark both. Perhaps mr newbie troll is unfamiliar with the concept of "homonym".

Also, Garmin Connect is "down for maintenance" (that's me being skeptical) on the morning that I set a new PR for my 7-mile training loop, so I can't see the data.

Bah.

Strava. I do use Garmin Connect, but only to auto-magically move my data from my Garmin to Strava.

Yeah, but you can just upload manually if Garmin Connect is down.
