Took a leisurely spin around Cazenovistan Lake (for Velo Vol, wherever he is...) today. Too lazy to swap the GP4K back onto the rear. Turns out you can totally tell the difference between $75 tires and $15 tires. #whoknew

Can't wear Keens. Not wide enough for my duck feet.

I don't know what Keen has to do with sandals. I don't know what recumbents have to do with sandals or cabs. And this Keen guy is a total mystery to me.

...you guys must not have read the memo from Brian Ratliff. Only ignorant doofusses who are trying to blow smoke use the Google search on the innerweebz. Real men of intelligence just spout off, and damn the consequences. :) #originalthinking

.
...speaking of which, I just revisited the low FLOP thread (still barely alive, even if on life support now :( ). I have used it in bettering my understanding of why, no matter how strange the beliefs that are put forth by a cult leader, he will always be guaranteed at least a small number of followers. Looking forward to attending services at the local branch of the Church of FLOP in the near future. :)

Isn't it "game, set, match?"

I don't really know. Tennis is stupid.

...I will be disappointed if I do not see a thread entitled, "$75 dollar tyres and $15 tyres, can you really tell the difference ?" http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/ha...y-emoticon.gif

I dunno, I think going fast on 23 mm tires wearing spandex and a styrofoam hat amongst 5000lb+ vehicles has its place on that list.

One of these pulled along side of us on the mean streets of Tomball this evening...

Tennis is most stupidest. It combines running with whacking a ball with a stick.

Swimming is least stupid because on a hot summer day at least it will cool you down.

My Keens are the roomiest shoes I own.

That's because you should be using 25mm tires. Much less stupid.

I'm betting a Thing is a rarer sight in those parts than a Ferrari.

We did see a Ferrari just like that one on the morning ride today. May have been the same one, but I'm thinking it was a different shade of red. We saw zero Things.

I was talking about the cycling sandals. They seem narrow for some reason.

Mumonkan 11-15-15 09:04 PM

statistics show the fatter your tires the less stupider it is

...my neighbor down the block has a Ferrari. He does not have a VW Thing. #envious
