What about Shimano?

They don't have a taxicab.

Wow, I don't think I've heard that term since the turn of the century.

Too bad there's only 4 straps. One more and you could do world champ stripes

Well, it's the end of an era. The Bianchi is on the way to its new owner in Cali. We messaged back and forth a bit and it looks like it's going to a really good home. He also has a Colnago steel frame with Campy Ergo on it. We're friends on the FB now, so I can see how he enjoys it and cry to myself. But I really had to let that one go.

Consequently, if you are every going to ship a bike, go to bikeflights.com for significant savings. It's basically a service using FedEx, but as best as I can figure they're making some sort of cut while using a single FedEx account. The shipping place wanted about 165 bucks for FedEx or UPS, so I went back to the shop to find a smaller box and my buddy showed me the bikeflights website and it only cost 37 freaking dollars.

...thank you very much for this. I am currently (even as we speak) working on sending a PX-10 to Pittsburgh, PA to an eager recipient there (who has some fond memory of a Peugeot he once had and rode.......the reality, of course, will be his to deal with :) They don't call 'em French bikes for nothin'.)

Brian Ratliff has nothing to do with the questions. In the past, I've seen wierd/goofy youtube videos people have posted. I've wondered then, as now, what were they searching for when that popped up? Or, why were the searching for that?

I plunked some duckets down on these, Sportscrafters Overdrive Pro Rollers...I like how the resistance is implemented, check it out on the website when you have a chance, the details regarding how resistance is implemented are in the Overdrive Drum section, they have a High Inertia Drum for better coasting etc.. as well.

A well thought out package made in the USA imo...Great warranty.

You could always start with their "Cadence" set, which is priced competitively with the competition, and add on functionality later on down the line. Same frame as the Overdrive Pro. $300.00msrp...just an fyi.

Honestly I should go all in since getting an upgrade past my wife is impossible, but I don't want to spend more than $150 since I don't know how much I will use one at this point.

...I am not nearly creative enough to search for videos of women pushing themselves through tennis racquets. In fact, until someond pointed it out to me, i had no idea at all the phenomenon existed. Apparently it is quite popular as a pastime now. :) It seems it would be harder for guys, because of the shoulder width, but women have the hips thing going on, so I guess it varies with individuals.

Apparently doing so with the camera at an angle is also a big part of the fun.

...if you get over to the Cities at all, check the bike co-op. People used to give us lightly used rollers here on a regular basis, and we never sold them for more than 20 bucks.

All I gotta say is, never, ever look into the portapotties at a big race or charity ride. Preferably hit the coffeeshop nearest the event on the way so you don't even have to get close to them.
