Good club ride today. I told the gang to take it easy with a goal pace of 17.5-18, of course we came in more like 19...but only one rider out of 11 was dropped and even that was close to the end. Another 50 glorious miles with open-fingered gloves, temps around 50.

Of course, mostly I'm agreeing with you. The crime and all is not something decent folks care to deal with. But a little debauchery every now and then never hurt nobody.

You are 100% correct.

We too just saw SW Episode 7. But the most fun was the week leading up to it.
Me and the kids watched 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 over this past week.

Seems like a good deal!

I just spotted my dream CXer:

I probably should head over to my local Performance bike and see if they have any leftover 2014 CX bikes they need to unload. Problem is I think I need a 60cm (possibly 58cm with 400mm seatpost) and that's not a common size. Actually, custom geometry is even better but cost prohibitive right now.

The Shaking My Head thread has me shaking my head...

Hahaha. Short leg guy on a high rear triangle frame - that's gotta be rough.

that would be me if thats all i had to work with, the struggle is most certainly real.

I used to feel kinda funny about the lack of seatpost showing on my KHS. For a mid-90s MTB, this is pretty much slammed.

Now I'm too old to care.

Mumonkan 12-26-15 09:22 PM

looks fine to me, about as much as my bridgestone has.

if were going period correct here youd want another foot of seatpost and a 6 inch periscope stem lol

LAJ 12-26-15 09:46 PM

My Puch and Schwinn both have the traditional handful of post.

No Christmas drones here.

I'm still allowed vinyl tape and plumbers putty.

I seem to remember a "back in the day" guideline that the seatpost show should typically be about the same as the head tube. :50:

I cleaned and oiled my snake. I thought of using chain lube but cheaped out and used motor oil. I think it was 10W30.

So I suppose talking about how long my snake is will get me banned??

datlas 12-27-15 06:58 AM

Still unseasonably mild in the NE USA. Time to go for another ride.
