Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know it was a poor attempt (at best) for help. But, under the circumstances, it's about the best I can do.

Nothing makes me more antsy and annoyed with everything at work than when I set my alarm for a morning ride and then sleep through it.

Today is one of those days where planning to ride in the afternoon will probably cause too much friction on the homefront. Ugh.

This place is crawling with bunnies. Saw 3 bunny roadkills on yesterday's ride. There's one chillin' by our driveway right now...

In other roadkill news, I went to lean my bike up against the fence along the freeway yesterday and bam, there was a huge roadkill deer right there. Looked pretty fresh and temps werre low enough, it was probably still good eatin.

Well, to offset all the death here, I saw 3 bunnies last night and they were all alive and happy. The only roadkill involved was the hundred or so bugs I swallowed.
