I got that email. I didn't really read it but I saw something about jeans before I hit the delete button. I was wondering if they are going to start selling faux jeans cycling shorts like the Carrera team used to wear.

I'd say whatever is cheapest but these legs don't fit into anything cept these:
Men's DuluthFlex Office Rebel Khakis - Duluth Trading
And I do wear above the knee shorts to show off the tree trunks at any given opportunity. If you got it, flaunt it.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
This is not the first time they have made jeans. They've done "city" clothing stuff on and off with what I assume to be varying degrees of success. They made a big push into a "casual" collection a couple of years ago and I don't think it went anywhere. They've even made some very expensive sport coats that sold very well.

So over on facebook Kurt Searvogel is trying to unload some of his wheels... and nobody is having it. I mean, that's one guy it's not a good idea to buy used wheels from. World record mileage on those suckers.
It's a shame, they're going for pretty cheap. Zipp 303s and ENVE SES (2.2/3.4 combo) for $1500 a set.

And yeah, I'd say that'd be the last dude I'd want to buy a used wheel set from.

Triple points coming up, so you get 510 back, if you choose to play the game. Those are Zipp 303 rims, with the rest of the goodies they state. I race them, and so far, they are rock solid.

You're correct, as far as not being Firecrest. The hub is superior, as are the spokes, in my opinion.

Additionally, he has done the helpful thing, for people looking for wheels, of providing a link to a great wheelset at a great price.
I think he is posting from the perspective of someone who is actually out there racing his bike, rather than just talking about wheels. He is worth listening to. He knows a lot about cycling and bike components and is generous about sharing this information. When I first started cycling and began participating in Addiction, one strategy I employed was to listen to the comments of people who had may more experience and knowledge than I did and I found that approach to pay huge dividends in the end. Because when I first started out, I didn't even know what I didn't know.
