When 700c wheels are too small...

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dave Levy at TiCycles has made some similar forks. Difference is that the forward trusses run up to the stem on his. With the triangular trussing it is inherently so much stronger that he can use far lighter tubing and they weigh almost nothing. (No massive steerer. It is not in bending.)

My road bike has a horizontal top tube and I'm guessing about the same standover.

I've never "ouched" on it.

The "dirtysixer" looks way better IMO.

Yao's wheels look tiny and the crossing tubes hurt my eyes.

At 5'8", the upgrade I regret most is 36" wheels. Totally duped by the marketing.

Same here, they look teeny tiny. those are 35mm tires. I dig the IDF shirt btw, I don't know whatever happened to mine.
