Woohoo. Thinking about putting my Kwicks back on the Lemond. And SPDs on the Bridgestone. Might go BMX flats on the Bridgestone for big upcoming ride... Things to ponder.

Actually, I'm considering flats for the first few dirt rides. Would be awesome fun if I could drift BMX style...

Are those laces?

Indeed.

The OCD potential to adjust for even tightness is high.

They're very walkable too. Hope they're not too flexy.

My meeting went as well as expected for a planning meeting where you're not allowed to talk. ITAR is some seriously silly crap. It seems the Air Force has a legacy role in this project, which kind of explains some of this.

Do you have to kill us now to protect gov't secrets?

My team loyalty is fleeting.

I need more KOMs. The local youngsters are snapping them up.

Will you ride with me?

Buenos dias!

Rowan 05-12-17 05:10 AM

Don't get cocky, buddy. You've just started a day we've almost finished! :D

seedsbelize 05-12-17 05:28 AM

Tell us what to expect.

Rowan 05-12-17 05:37 AM

A bit of this, a bit of that.

Rowan 05-12-17 05:38 AM

Oh, and planning bicycle rides for the weekend. Plus a bit of casual shopping.

seedsbelize 05-12-17 05:48 AM

Thanks!

Rowan 05-12-17 05:52 AM

You're welcome.

I am at work and in between patients I am trying to put together a club ride for Sunday.

I wanted to use Strava to find some good climbs. No can do. Work blocks social networks and apparently Strava is considered one.

Phooey.

But you're the owner. Fix it. You seem to have issues with limitations.

Don't you have the Strava app on your cell phone?

Rowan 05-12-17 06:11 AM

And why hasn't it blocked BFs?

The 41 doesn't wave. BFs is an anti-social network.

I hope you realize that calling someone "coy" is one of the most serious criticisms you can dish out on the internet. For some reason folks just hate it. Ask me how I know.

How do you know?

WhyFi 05-12-17 06:29 AM

New coffee beans from a local (walking distance) roaster. Beans are blacker than night - much darker than I'm used to. Not bad, but not my preference, so I can only imagine that my wife is not going to be too fond. The roaster said that he had a lighter and a darker recommendation for espresso, so I'll have to give the lighter a shot next time.

I only recently came to appreciate the segment explore feature of Strava; combined with goog's Street View, it can really help give you an idea of how to traverse unfamiliar areas.

I see what you did there.

But it is so pretty. It has to taste good, right?

rpenmanparker 05-12-17 06:52 AM

Just bought myself a birthday present (next week). I can't say what it was.
