Everything wired all the time. We had wireless mice and keyboards at this job, I put both in a desk drawer and brought my own wired versions in. Everyone to date has had a significant problem with their wireless mouse and some with the keyboards. Gator don't play that ****.

Look! A photo of me not bloody by the side of the road!
It was someone's cell phone, so you can't enjoy my sasquatch legs in high rez. My apologies.

This is the way my Macs are. Wireless keyboards are fine but the wireless mice are battery killers and occasionally buggy. I use wired mice.

None of my Garmin sensors require tools for changing batteries.
Ace hardware had 6 packs of 2032s for $1.50. I haven't tried them yet, but how bad could they be?
I went on a 5k trail run today. 3 weeks since the ankle injury and I'm healing well.
Accepted a job offer yesterday. Pay is starting lower than I'd like, but there will be accelerated promotion as there will be a retirement in 18 months. I did counter for more vacation days. Waiting to hear back. Owner is in the middle of a business trip though.
Not sure what my start date will be.

I only had battery trouble when I was using rechargeables. Once I switched to disposables, the longevity went way up.

I don't have wireless mouse battery problems. I use rechargeables and they last just fine before needing a recharge. What are you guys doing with your mices for chrissakes?

Hey @Heathpack, care to comment on this??
My sister's German shepherd has chondrosarcoma in one of his legs. Vet says leg must come off. I would agree.
My sister found an "alternative" vet who claims he might be able to cure the dog with injections of " Chinese" medicines.
I told my sister this sounds quite fishy but I know nothing about animal medicine.

She should do the limb amputation if the diagnosis is certain (as in a biopsy has been done). CSA of low histologic grade can do really well with surgery alone.

Farmer tan
So my new job's training process is pretty intense. 4 weeks and the last week, which I'm in the middle of, involves 4 random audits of our performance while doing the day to day tasks of the role. They hired about 200 people recently so we have prior training classes to compare to, a good portion failed and lost the job in the last day or two of the process. Luckily I've had 3 good audits out of 4, should basically know this time tomorrow if I'm going to really have a job starting Monday. It's been very stressful, but the perks and pay are worth it. The race last night didn't go well but it was great catharsis, as were the tacos and beers after.
Kudos @RPK79 on your new job as well!

Well that was a long day.
Hotel gym to start the day, then lectures, a luncheon, more lectures, a business meeting with an open bar, a cocktail reception with an open bar, and out to dinner with some friends (there was a bar).
Learned some cool stuff. At one point, I (silently, to myself) made the connection between increased lifespan in starved beer yeast and cycling. Lol.
Quote of the day:
Me, to a former resident- Hey, you look great, did you lose weight?!
Her- Nope. Boob job.
Lol.
