Also I have no idea if it's done on the honor system, or if your competition can demand you hop on the scale, and if they do, when you're weighed. If someone files a complaint, are you getting weighed while you're still struggling to rehydrate and fill back on glycogen after the race? That could put some people under, even if they were over at the start of the race. No weigh-ins like pugilism to define it.

And I just tried reading that Meilenstein thread - totally didn't know that was why someone asked if those were what AG wanted. Wow that thread is a mess, and I only got three pages in before giving up.

Ok the Airline says to arrive 3 hours before departure (international travel) which seems kinda long especially since we are not checking bags. Any comments??

Follow the directions.

It's a trainwreck of a thread. And like a trainwreck/accident, it's ugly but I can't look away.

Newark, Thursday night, and very risk adverse. We will aim to get there 3 hours before and not stress if delays. Plus the cut-rate airline charges for advance seat reservations, so if we are a little early we are more likely to be seated together.

Example: arrived airport 3 hrs ahead for our flight to Buenos Aires last year and United wouldn't issue a boarding pass. We had not secured entry visas which are simply a gotcha for Americans in retaliation for how hard it is to get into the US. I had not seen the information on the airline site. My fault, not theirs. Fortunately we had the time and United had a computer set up for us to go online and buy and print the visas. But it took quite a while. The extra time came in very handy.

I have a lovely .m4a of Hannah playing the piano. I don't think it can be posted in this forum, is that right? It's short, only a few minutes and 1.4 Mb.

Bah Humbug 06-14-17 03:01 PM

So... 504 pages.

Folks more savvy than myself could likely help. Pcad uses Soundcloud.

That thread is basically being propagated by some guy that's all butthurt at another thread.

That's not narrowing it down much.

I know, right? This is as close as you've ever seen me talk about another thread on this site.

I probably missed this like 300 pages ago, what breed is he/she?

Miniature wirehaired dachshund.

Same as Doglet.

Both dogs are female.

Puppy is bigger than Doglet who is kind of a micro mini doxie. Puppy is more of a normal sized mini doxie.

So far Puppy is surprisingly smart and well-behaved. Total cutie. A bit too much in Doglet's face sometimes though.

To me it is obvious. But it's not polite to @ others out of turn.

I haven't kept tabs on it for a while (27 pages now?!), but there have been a few times where different individuals were the main drivers and each of those individuals harbor saltiness about other threads, including this one.

I noticed a certain someone seemed to fit that description best, but it's possible they are sharing the football among several players. I am trying to stay out of that going forward.

Oh, my ride today took me on to the course for some TT. I was wondering why I kept seeing guys on TT rigs going the other way, then I came up on the starting ramp. Had to get off the road and on to the bike path for a bit. Some of those riders were flyin'. Looked kinda fun in a hurty way.

Kind of ironic that we're subtweeting about how much we're above carrying our grudges around.

Back on topic- evidently I have a ratio of frustration level:chocolate chip cookies. Today that happened to reach a new level on my scale and reached double chocolate chip muffin territory. Tasty, but I wish it had been unnecessary.
