I normally live in the MEILENSTEIN LIGHTWEIGHT OBERMAYER Schwarz ed Wheel Set in Tubular thread. Time is saddle > distance. I have no doubt you can do it. But why? |

So I'm thinking of doing my first ever solo century tomorrow. Do I need to start a thread asking for nutrition advice? Would that be the best place to reveal that I've never ridden further than 12 miles in a single day?
For realz, I hope it doesn't rain. Is this a METRIC century or a "MILES" century? You need to specify as this is EXTREMELY important in the likely advice offered by the experts. |

I kinda wish it went to indigo and purple in the stays, though. Then I'd be tempted to go orange bar tape and red hoods, of course. :) |

Speaking of eating....
Amazon is buying Whole Foods for, roughly, $13,700,000,000. Bezos could buy a lot of Lightweight wheels for that kind of coin. |

Back in the summer of '86 I worked in a beer and sandwich shop during college. One day a customer came in and said simply "Let me get a turkey and cheese." A guy behind the counter named Wiley said "Where you want that? In your hand?" That was somewhat gutsy considering some of the clientele that patronized the place. (The place sold crack pipes and related paraphernalia.) But Wiley was a big guy. Another time two workers at the nearby Bryer's ice cream plant came in in their coveralls and hair nets and bought a crack cooker and a 40. When they left, the manager exclaimed "I'll bet you never look at a pint of cherry vanilla the same way again." Damn! That was the best summer job I ever had. |

I think I heard they finally finished building it. Is that true? |

Breathtaking.
Basilica Sagrada Familia for those not familiar. It took 128 years to build, and still going. Photos Sagrada Familia

Had to get vitals taken at work today as a routine semi-annual thing. BP 113/77, HR= 66 after running around for 3-4 hours and a large cup of coffee. That's nice, already showing some improvement with the HR.

Nope. Still going. BTW...When I was in Barcelona in '84 I went to a bullfight. Not something I would do again. I left after the third bull. |

Many more reasons. Has young Doge even been up Guanella? He's going to like it, in actuality. I was surprised that it ended above tree line, and it is likely right up his alley. |
