Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

:bday:

... as long as that lateral promotion was appropriately stiff.

On the advise of this forum, lunch was cheesecake with the cherry sauce. Needed something lo-cal due to lack of biking this week. Weather has been like clockwork this week - leave work, storms roll in.

That way here too, with the exception of getting off work. I'm always off work, and await the cooler temps of evening. Today looks promising.

Oh trust me, it's true. You'll see...

seedsbelize 06-30-17 01:44 PM

You'll ALL see.

The wife just pulled one of those, "so we're going to be a little busy over the next two or three days, so if you want to get in any riding, you'll probably have to go... oh, right about now."

Riding - good. Having stuff sprung on me last-second - ugh.

Isn't it always like that? I often hear about it from somebody else.

Just bust out the touring bike with fast tires. You'll be fine.

I'm officially too big for Rapha XXL jerseys. Core fits, new ones don't. Did I get bigger or did Rapha get smaller. Oh well, onto Castelli or whomever fits adult american males.

PepeM 06-30-17 02:56 PM

Haven't been riding much lately. To make up for it, I've been buying bike stuff.

For the steelsteed:
- DA 7800 RD
- DA 7900 Downtube shifters
- DA 7700 FD
- DA 7700 brake calipers
- DA hubs laced to Ambrosio Crono wheels, 10 speed
Still looking for some DA aero levers, or at least some nice polished ones.

I also bought a crabon wheelset. 30mm, under 1kg. Extralite hubs. 1000 euros, seemed to good to pass up. Unfortunately it was too good. The company emailed me the next day to tell me the price was wrong, the actual price was 1850 euros. They offered the wheels to me for 1750 shipped, but that is still way too much, so I passed. Oh well, probably for the better.

Apart from that, I am getting a bit impatient waiting for my new frame, especially when I see others pop up on the internet. For that one I got:

- Aerofly bars
- Cinelli caleido bartape
- Tacx Deva bottle cages
- 5800 brake calipers
- 5800 FR

I think that's it. Everything else will be a straight swap.

I should get back to riding, it is much cheaper.

Wise choice.

Castelli sizes are ridiculously small.

seedsbelize 06-30-17 03:13 PM

I've been tiring myself out with the weedeater instead of riding. Now that tbe rain has returned. It is just shocking how fast things grow here.

Jerseys are one size up from my street clothes. Not really ridiculous.

Really? I never seem to have this problem.

seedsbelize 06-30-17 04:24 PM

You're pretty small yourself. They fit me small.
