One of the few times that specific advice in this thread is actually a good idea.

Chin up! Chuck Berry lived until he was 90.

+1. Dislike them.

Wife has a dancing bear tattoo and loves them, though. She's also a huge Phish fanatic, been to ~60 shows. I just can't get into the jam band thing.

My musical tastes are still wallowing in the 18th century for the most part. Can't relate.

It also means that I've had to carry around that little adapter so I can connect my earbuds to the phone while riding. Pretty good odds that I lose it within the next couple of weeks, if not sooner.

Of course, since the phone is relatively new and the knockoff people haven't started mass producing them, a replacement dongle is something like $30. Ugh.

Yep. Luckily, I have two adapters because my wife doesn't use hers. Also, I have two sets of 7 earbuds because, again, she doesn't use hers. :D

As regards crabon/plastic. I'm an old fogey and that move is simply a step that I'm not willing to take/accept. I'll try not to be disrespectful to others who (that?) feel differently.

The rotors are really springy so you find the high spot or wherever and sort of give it a judicious pop. May take several tries to get it right.

I have one rotor that gives me fits and I really should toss it but I'm too cheap. When I try to straighten it, it's like trying to true a wheel. I keep chasing the out of true spot around the wheel.

Not to go off on a tangent, but what is the proper usage, here? I believe that "that" is correct; but not sure. Is there a grammarian in the house?

I'm glad that my almost-6-year-old can recognize (and seems to appreciate) a decent number of classical pieces. Makes me feel like I'm doing at least one thing right.

Those are super cheap. Have you bought any? Full wheels or rims only?

I have the low profile (20 mm) tubular rims. Very nice. And backed up by eBay/Pay Pal.

You can count on me. Food is my favorite subject.

I have only one thing to say to you: J. S. Bach

Do it now before it's too late. Otherwise you'll wind up with a kid who listens to something along the lines of the Grateful Dead. :D

When you say "give it a pop" you mean just wack it? I dunno that I trust myself with that - I'd be more comfortable slowly levering.
