Garmin mount that goes on side of stem?
I saw a cyclist with a Garmin GPS mounted on one side of the stem rather than on top of it, but didn't get a chance to ask him what it was.
I have a front bar bag which means the "out front" holder won't work, and I want to mount a separate speed/cadence computer on top of the stem, meaning there is currently no space for the Garmin.
Does anyone one know who makes these mounts?
Thanks!

This looks interesting! I've seen this mount in a different orientation, placed over the top of the stem. Can the locking mechanism be rotated 90 degrees so that the Garmin ends up positioned normally once it's attached?

K-EDGE Adjustable Garmin Stem Mount:
Adjustable Garmin Stem Mount
$39.99
The K-EDGE Garmin Stem Mount is a great upgrade solution for cyclists who prefer their computer above the stem. Mounting off of the steerer tube, the mount replaces a standard 5mm spacer, and is locked securely in place by the top cap compression system.
The adjustable version allows for a variety of different stem angles. Can be used with positive or negative degree stems and additional spacers can be added (5mm to 10mm) above the stem. Note that some of the larger computers will not always work with a steep angled stem.
Designed with mountain biking in mind, the K-EDGE Stem mount is also ideal for much more including: cyclocross; triathlon; bike touring; or if you simply prefer this position for your computer.

Hmm...I'll look at this again as an option. I think I tried it once and thought it looked weird, but maybe that was before I bought the bar bag.
[Edit: I think I remember the problem. I had a 30 degree riser stem, and there was some issue with stem or knee clearance. Visibility might have been an issue too. I've now got a longer, lower stem that might be OK. I'll give it a go]
Obvious really!
Thanks.

One is a Sigma speed and cadence computer and the other is a basic Garmin Edge 200 unit, which doesn't have any external sensors).
I understand that I could get a single unit to do all of the above, but it would cost a considerable amount, and running the two devices that I already own is the easiest option.

Possibly. I'm a big short on bar space (front bag mounting bracket, bar extender, bell), but I might be able to juggle things around to make space for the Garmin. Good suggestion!
