Hello weekend

Anyone doing anything besides riding? Discuss.

Funny, I have always found it way overrated. Watery and tasteless. But then, I hail from New Orleans.

I’ve got a pound of Kona that I paid a rediculous price for - way too much for what it is. When the bag is empty, so will my Kona experience be.

Pro tip: high price does not guarantee high quality.

Well, I've got a clinical helminthology final next week, so there will be a great deal of studying. But I'm not sure anyone wants me to discuss that. Or post pics.

I've had real Kona coffee (and I drink New Orleans coffee every day). Real Kona coffee brewed correctly is delicious. Though it was free from a friend that brought it back from family in Hawaii. That easily could have had an effect on my experience.

Good luck to AG this weekend! The journey alone to get there is impressive.

BTW no decisions on wheels but the Flo 45 look up my alley as an alternative to Reynolds' offerings.

These Yucatan hammocks are shockingly comfortable once you learn how to use them properly. I recently read about a hospital installing some, for old folks who were born in a hammock, and have never used anything else.

You should provide us with a Yucatan hammock tutorial. If there was a link, I know I would buy one and give it a go. Not for sleeping, but for regular hammock use.

It ain't much, but my older daughter is having a new house warming party tomorrow night. 85 people. Ought to be fun.

But the downside is that half the guests have lost their homes to the recent floods. The mood will likely be a bit subdued.

Sunday I’ll be shooting little kids football game. 10 year olds. Weather permitting.

Saturday I might shoot migrating birds, or if I behave responsibly I’ll stain my porch.

Show 'em how it's done AG.

You could regale them with cool stories of chemistry if there were any. Enjoy the party. Hopefully some wine will be sampled.:thumb:

Had a mango-rum-coconut drink and a grass-fed burger. Life is tough.

Oh and this morning was my best run on the island, so that was good.

The toughest song to play (for me) is this one. It's the penultimate song, too, so lip endurance could be an issue at the end.

Start a thread on the best fuel for lip endurance? What about for lip recovery? Did Chuck Mangione play the flugelhorn?

So you are an accomplished musician and a humitarian and have massive guads for dialing up 400 watts?

They're racing at 'dega on Sunday. Trucks on Saturday. NHRA this weekend down in Texas, and there may be the first 340 mph pass. This is 1000 feet, btw, because the 1/4 mile went away after Scott Kalitta died. There's some football, and some baseball going on too.

Halloween lights are up, so I have all weekend to do as I please.
