Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah it was a nasty job. Also needed lots of tools, the assembly uses torx screws of two different sizes.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the cleanup gives good results. If not, we are getting a new dishwasher.

From my office I can see nothing outside. Lots of pictures of the family but no windows.

New content: The metric system sucks except for scientific uses. For example, linear measurement goes from a centimeter to a meter with nothing in between. Boo.

While I am throwing stones (not rocks), the Celsius temperature measurement doesn't work for me and is on my radar for banishment. This is for the USA only. Other countries can do whatever they want and be wrong if they so desire.

My office building has some amazing views. Unfortunately my actual office is on the first floor facing the parking ramp.

I am going to finish my coffee, then fire up a snowblower and deal with my driveway.

I will then strap on showshoes and re-pack my MTB loop.

At least it is sunny out.

I don't celebrate Boxing Day, use the metric system, or Celsius. I went to Canada once. That was enough.

I saw Canada and have a photo with it in the background, but did not set foot in that god forsaken frozen tundra.

The only reason I went to Canada was so I could see the USA side ( the good side) of Niagara Falls.

Clearly, yours is the correct action.

Before long the US will be a pariah nation. No one will care what it does.

Look who's talking.

Celsius is dumb and in the winter Canada is a frozen hellscape, but I must defend my peoples.
