Took a quick test spin on the Domane. It's a bike.
Although the geometry says that it's within a couple MMs of the Haanjo in all of the key dimensions, it seems to feel more like the Xenith. I'd bet that part of it is the bars - I wouldn't be surprised if they were 4cm narrower (or more) than the Hannjos bars. Hoods are much slimmer, too.
Anyway, tough to tell too much when most of the ride was spent trying keep the wheels under me - there was plenty of ice and snow - rather than trying to drop the hamer. It was certainly cushy, but it'll probably be a few months before I can tell how much to attribute to the built-in frame compliance and how much credit should go the the 35mm tires.

My organization is having its annual “holiday” party (which is always 4-5 weeks after Xmas to improve attendance) and the theme is “green” which think is an Eagles reference and not a nod to ecology. Just a wild guess, of course.
I suppose I will try to wear something green in solidarity.

In the past, my bests were typically around 105, but that's just not working for me right now and I'm not sure why. Maybe part of it is just CV fitness, but I feel like another part of it form, like I'm expending a lil too much energy on keeping my legs from flying out of control. I'll keep at the spinning, but probably not during intervals that'll have me hanging on for dear life at the end.

WF is the only (local) option for jumbo Vital Farms eggs, which are by far the supreme readily-available commercial egg I've ever found (and I literally tested them all). The only better commercial egg I've found is Red Hills, which is available... only at WF365, which is all the way up in Round Rock.

Frontier FIOS is crap, you mean. It was great for me when it was verizon. But I'm suffering from frontier right now. I just switched from cable because it was half the cost... ugh.
Hey, wasn't google fiber rolling out to Austin?

Hmm, Verizon was the one with the issues. And AT&T Uverse. Yes we have Google Fiber... if you live south of the river. They've been unable to make it north of the river, scheduled rollout be damned. It's one of the reasons I keep my fingers crossed AG gets the new job.

CA-SEFS compliant. But even that doesn't guarantee quality - Costco CA-SEFS eggs have pale yellow yolks just like crap eggs. The Red Hill Farms eggs are the only ones I've encountered that match the eggs from the old family farm, which had blood-orange yolks. The Vital Farms eggs come close.
Interestingly, the family farm doesn't meet the CA-SEFS regulations despite producing better eggs. It must be the quality and quantity of feed provided.

If only we could get them all to be in the same place at the same time. Even 50% would be a vast improvement. Hey, maybe a political rally?
