That beam on the top of the garage wall; is that there special to support a snow load? And is the rest of the roof built similarly beefy?

Yesterday, on an open, flat 2.5 mile stretch, it felt great to maintain table-flat HR, cadence and speed. Then I got home and saw that the KOM on that segment, a kid with good genes (his twin sister rides for Rally) and a TT bike, had managed almost 10mph faster.

Sad to see all the old R3SLs are finally sold from R&A. The all white 2008 CSC one, the full 2009 bike they would have stripped to sell the frameset, the Soloist Carbon. If I had money to burn, I would have bought another one and hung it on the wall for later use.
And a Time RXRS. They don't have my size anymore and my attempts to get someone else to buy one has so far failed.
