While away for a week my wife purchased a new scale. It claims I gain 5.1 pounds on a rice diet and no biking for week. Told her the thing is defective and needs to be returned! 
Hope she didn't throw the old one away.

Visiting the ophthalmologist this morning. Vision has suddenly gone to **** over the last 2-3 months. Is it finally time for the cataract surgery? Doc has been marveling that such ugly cataracts haven’t caused me more trouble for the last few years. I will let you know.
