This just came up on my FB page from 2012. I don't know which is more embarrassing, the helmet or the fact that I've been on FB since at least 2012. 
BTW, the pic was taken in 1984 and the bike is an all Campy (except the brake levers) Viner Stella Pro. Color is actually electric blue. Check out the Multito odometer on the front wheel which means those were training wheels and I've been told the pic was taken at a training crit in an industrial park.

All of the vegetarians on this thread grew up eating meat. In my case, it was clean, unadulterated, farm-fresh meat. I stopped eating meat while I was the head cook at a steak restaurant. And saw how it was treated in that venue. I doubt that I would ever go back, even if I knew it to be clean, though.

I think you're close. The name was Pro-something or other.
Edit: Nope, it was made by Brancale of Italy. It does resemble Protec skateboard helmets, though.
I finally recognized the logo on the front and googled "vintage Brancale Sport helmets and found it under images of vintage Brancale helmets.
