They're having such a joyous time in the disk brake thread, a topic everybody can sink their teeth into.

Surprisingly no hostilities. Does that mean mod head-banging has paid off?

I see some pebbles along the right-hand track, does that mean it's the gravel course?

That's no surprise, you're done with winter as soon as it starts.
I think southern Arizona is the place for you.

Personally I haven't ruled out northern Arizona as our retirement site, because I love the snow.

My son has started answering questions like his mother. For whatever reason, both have difficulty answering a "yes" or "no" question with a "yes" or a "no." There always has to be a preamble, supporting their answer but often leaving the "yes" or "no" to be inferred. This morning, it was his missing watch. "Hey Colin, you're not wearing your watch. Did the buckle break again?" "Weelllllll, a craaaazy thing happened at lunch yesterday..."
Drives me batty.
Drives me batty.

I've never wondered that. You need to focus on things that matter. Like awesome shovels.
in unrelated news, the person that performed my root canal clearly wasn't a BF member. She offered me percocet for the pain. I had to tell her that Doug's don't do drugs.

The scheduled TT for Saturday has a high of 24. I may be wrong, but even a gold plated marigold jacket likely won't help much

I've been operating at about a 1,000 cal/day deficit for the last two weeks or so, so I had a cheat treat - some donut holes. Holy sugar bomb. They were good, but I could probably be happy with half the amount next time.

Had my annual Medicare wellness checkup on Monday and my doctor ended with a question of whether I had any concerns. I told her that I thought I needed a weight therapist since I think about food all of the time and am planning my next meal while eating a meal. Her advice? Read a book or something when the urge to eat comes on. Really? Like she doesn't think a person can eat while reading?!

Anyone here (I'm looking at you @rjones28) have experience with the Spec Power saddles? The Toupe is certainly good enough for me outside, but I still can't quite dial out all of the numbness on the trainer. I think that it's mostly a problem when I'm 'on the rivet,' so to speak. For harder efforts, I often tilt my hips forward slightly and slide forward a little bit. On the Toupe, it seems to be just enough that my sit bones aren't quite supported. I'm wondering if the shape of the Power, which seems to be a little less pear-shaped, would be a little more conducive to that kind of movement. At the same time, it also looks to be a little shorter.
