So, as I suspected. It looks like the Sram update bricked my front derailluer. Been reading multiple accounts, exact same symptoms and behavior. The memory is corrupted somehow. From what I've read it can happen to either derailluer, front or rear. So far, no remedy is forthcoming.

Did the Zwift Academy 'Recovery Ride #2 yesterday. Like the last time, I was OTB early, but I really wonder how many of the riders were going at Recovery pace? I was riding so as to stay entirely in the gray and blue, which I mostly managed except when the road went up, where I just naturally tended to push harder till I remembered to shift into a lower gear and spin up it. Not entirely pointless, but it was pretty boring. So I ended up drafting some guy on a TT bike, who wouldn't let be be in front of him, but also wouldn't go fast enough to drop me. I allowed myself to fall back a few seconds, but pretty quickly caught up with him again. The I passed him and he caught me up and got in front again. So I let him stay there.

Why is the camera for the "highlights" in the end zone, 40 yards away from the line of scrimmage?
This is where it's at.

What's weird is it worked fine on monday.Thursday I wanted to ride it and no front derailluer. Wtf? F.derailluer, Total brick. Won't update firmware. We'll it states it has the the latest update, 2.7.3, but as soon as you end the update session. It says it needs an update while displaying the current update is the same one it's downloading.

Okay, so, dumb question: I can understand the reluctance IRL, but what's the objection to riding in close proximity to a stranger virtually?

I have no particular objection, but after 5 minutes it feels...weird.
