Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

And no celebratory video posting for our Volunteers beating Duke?

If they were at X, and then, one or more days older, started eating the yeast, and felt better, that would be a point for the yeast.

I rode 2 hours today at the bike paths. It rained a little bit but wasn't really cold. Not many people out which is normal when it's hot or cold or windy. There were 3 guys who got close to me until I turned onto a faster section and they couldn't match my awesome geriatric power. Either that or they turned off.

The only remaining seed in the East region that's lower than the Vols is KSU.

Discuss.

Yep. I could get close to 900w outdoors (not that high, I know) but never more than 620 or so indoors. And I've stopped bothering to try to go more than 90 minutes, and even that's rare.

Made it home. First thing I did was pull the carbon seat post off El Diablo, and swap it with the easton seat post I just put on the Pepe Le Pew. I kept the new aeolus elite seat on El diablo.
It’s a shame that I’m an idiot and bout a seat post with so much set back, I really wish I thought of that. The RSL seatpost with the elite seat only weighs 400 grams. The easton seatpost with the bontrager comp seat post weighs 645 grams.

Once I got the swap of the seat post I then spent time setting up the Pepe le pew. Since it now has the same seat and seat post as magic man, and the frames are almost identical, I tried my best to get them to match. The bars feel really wide on the Pepe le pew. I don’t know why, they are the same width as all of my bikes.

The reach between magic man and pepe le pew is the same currently. The drop is different which is surprising. Magic man is about 4.5 inches, while pepe le pew is 3 inches.

He knew exactly what car he wanted, but it was at a dealership about 70 miles away. It’s a Bronco, and hard to get. Left the house at 7:30 to meet him at the store when it opened. Was at the store doing the deal and waiting for it to be delivered until after 11:00.

Then drove to Garland from Corsicana to sell his car to Carmax as the dealer would not offer enough for the trade. Grabbed lunch when we got to Garland. Carmax took a while because very busy. Collected the check as I fronted the down payment. Then my wife and I drove an hour plus home. 7:15 to 3:30/4:00 ish.

Kid’s first car purchase. Well worth the time helping him.

Same here on the 8-straight part. I often wake up around 3am. Luckily 99.7% of the time I'm back asleep within an hour but still very annoying.

Ive always slept a lot, but, being a (relative) young, your sleep is probably higher quality than mine, snore for snore.

Maybe it's just me, but I do not assume that sort of thing works instantly. Besides which, IIRC, he said they eat it, and then stopped.

I've had spells like that, if I go to bed early enough. It was worse when I was taking more prednisone (avoid).

You're awake at 3:30 a.m., then can hardly stay awake at 3:30 p.m.

Life can be difficult.

I just watched the last 20K of Milan-San Remo. Pretty exciting stuff. I don't know how they do it. Even if I could do it I don't think I could do it.

some Bronco models are just about impossible to get

seems used car prices are high - until you attempt to trade in to a dealer

had (hopefully don’t still have) a candidate for squeal out

bad squeal with new RS785 calipers w / resin pads and ice tech rotors

scuffed pads and rotors - squeal is now gone (hopefully for good)

pads are a breeze to remove - remove pin and they remove from top in seconds
