Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Velo Vol I have tight ear canals and get blockages in my ears once every year or two that can be quire persistent/annoying. It is often onset with swimming. When this happens, I typically will do OTC 3% peroxide in my ear (with my head tilted up) for a few minutes, then tilt it down and flush with the bulb and water. I do two cycles of that daily (morning shower) and it can sometimes take a week or more to totally clear it out, but it does go eventually.

My hope is that it clears up in the next few days. Otherwise I guess I should see an ENT? Or can a noctor handle this?

Good luck! Keep treating it along the way as its not entirely likely to go away on its own, at least IME.

I might have to take the day off to recover from my shock. This is the first quality music you've posted that I can remember. Mark the date. 8/19/23

Incorrect. I've posted a number of KCB videos.

Incidentally, playing the trumpet sounds vastly different when your ears are blocked up.

Knoxville needs one of these places -- spotted in Saint John NB. Right next door to the rather genteel/upscale -- i.e. pretentious -- organic/whole foods place (an anomaly around here) we frequent.

Just Big Bicycle after more of your disposables. I'd rather give Big Photograph my extra duckets. Or Big Vacation.

A lot of the items make sense, but what would someone have against a toaster?

I don't think you're supposed to have something against the item itself, but maybe with some printers I could see that.

A toaster should deform in a pleasing manner and make a nice sound while doing so, might get some heating coils to sproing out of there too. Plus you can set it on something hit it with a baseball bat and see how far it'll go.

It'd be fun to do a crabon bike.

Looks like it takes $550 to get into some crabon on my CL, so still kinda pricey. I'd wanna keep those wheels also, so I'd put the ol' Rolfs off the ol' Lemond on for smashtime.

It's not easy . . .
I now seem to have constant congestion issues with my ears. About 2 months ago I went 95% deaf (100% on one side, like 80% on the other) and it took a solid month to clear up. I'm clear now, and have no more than the usual hearing damage, but I'm having to take as much of as many types of allergy meds as they can stuff in me to keep it that way. And even then it's iffy.

But as for drops causing Eustachian tube blockage? I don't think that's possible unless you don't have ear drums. I dunno, tho, maybe bear ears are different.
