guilty as charged - I’m a sucker for those types of vehicles
one of my favs is the Mercedes Unimog - very rare ( in the US ) - actually spotted one near a rural bike trail early last summer

That’s not it. He’s been hounding me about my quoting, for the past couple days. I’m doing something wrong, so says Velo Vol. But he is unable, apparently, to just say what it is. He’s acting like my wife. Giving me half the story and expecting me to know what he’s talking about.

He pointed out your quoted posts were odd, you asked what he meant, he answered.
Far from hounding.
I will say that when you quote a post and cut off any part of the coding, it will show up in a strange way.

He did not answer. If he had I would know what he’s talking about.
Hounding

genejockey;23188396]I'm pretty sure that it's not something you're doing wrong.[/QUOTE]
That's about as close as I can get.
Again, if any of the code is missing, it boogers up the whole quote.

Hey I am old enough to remember when we could stock up and save on getting GP4000s tires from PBK for $28 each.
I am running low on tires and generally running GP5000 (clincher not tubular, 25mm and/or 28), looking around it seems the going rate is $70. Inflation indeed!!
Anyone know of a good, reliable source that might be the best value?

was 55 when we started and was not supposed to get colder. Didn’t bring any layers, just gloves. Temperature dropped after the first climb, then the wind picked up. I’ve never been so cold in my life. During the final descent I couldn’t use my front brake. my hands wouldn’t work. My whole body was shaking so violently I couldn’t pedal. Thankfully, the final descent takes me all the way to the car.

Looks like great ride except for the freezing part.
