Cant belive the cool weather we are getting here ,copping some 35-40 knot winds.

No mirages crankman. Must have blown away in the 35-40 knot winds we got over here on Sunday. They were straight off the desert, so maybe your winds came clear across the whole damn country. We've had some heat over this way for a coupla weeks, and last night they dragged up the global warming issue on the news again.

I reckon the weather patterns are just getting back to how they were 25 years ago. We've even had a few of the old Southerly Busters scream up the coast this summer. Haven't seen them in years.

Yeah...but I have to get the missus to werk it. I tell her when Paris-Tours is on SBS on a Sunday morning, and it appears on the hard drive like magic.

I dont like Hills at the moment because I don't really have the strength. Even though I'm gonna have to ride to Uni this year.

Not this Saturday for me, organised track stuff instead. Next Saturday (early, for Expat) looks OK tho. Sundays are out for me with racing being on.

HDTVKSS 01-03-06 04:51 PM

anyone had experience of "the boys" getting sore all the god damn time after riding? no matter what knicks, what seat, what seat position, the next day it feels like mark viduka has taken a nice big swing at my goal posts. :o

jock 01-03-06 04:54 PM

Just get them taken out if they cause too much trouble

HDTVKSS 01-03-06 05:00 PM

HDTVKSS 01-03-06 05:09 PM

Mrs HD has been trying to aleviate said symptoms for the past year. and while she tries very hard, pain sitll persists. apparantly, god was confused when i said i wanted to be big downstairs, and just left me with 2 extra sized accesories to my one average sized main centre peice....

Who can tell? The only time you can tell that you're in reality is when you tread on lego, kick your little toe into the breakfast table, get whacked in the ghoulies by some snot nosed brat, or laugh up coke through your nose. At all other times what you believe that you are experiencing might as well just be fantasy.

you been there before? The 65km road from Benalla to Yarrawonga is a bit dodgey: bit narrow and bumpy

531Aussie 01-03-06 10:03 PM

ok, I've gotta come clean: I'm gunna race vets :p

don't laugh :)

It can't be that easy if Rob Crowe, Peter Besanko and Max Rainsford are down there

Summer hasnt hit here yet,{late Jan, Feb -March are the warmest} though wind all along the coast is epected this time of year ,the fremantle doctor{off the ocean breaze }. There wasnt any other riders out, not suppised, I was was riding down hill, 30kmh in into a head wind on the open road and thinking im going now where fast and having to ride 20kms to get home, took to the back streets to get out of the breeze.
Global warming and farming in the same sentence, sends shivers down most peoples spines
